BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend

What was it?

Europes largest free ticketed event. BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend is the first major British music festival of the year and always attracts big UK and worldwide artists.

This year BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend took place at Lydiard Park, Swindon on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May. With live music across four stages, music and activities from the two-day event.

What did we do there?

GTMS were contracted by the BBC to provide the following-

  • Provided an open top double deck bus with branding wrap
  • BBC Switch tent theming and branding
  • BBC Introducing tent theming and branding
  • External theming
  • Site branding
  • Venue branding
  • Built 3 giant 5ft BBC cubes that featured at the main entrance
  • On site production and installation
