Case Studies
British Cochlear Implant Group

GTMS were tasked by i2e to create a 3m x 3m exhibition stand for the British Cochlear Implant Group's 2009 Annual conference in Cambridge. GTMS were provided with a 3D render which had to be interpreted and transformed into a high end, practical solution.
In order to achieve a seamless, high gloss finish, we used materials that would create maximum effect and that would also be durable in order to be reused at future events.
To ensure that the stand flowed, the flooring curved upwards to meet the walls and then the ceiling grid. The walls had large format printed graphics applied and a light up display unit with neon shelving units to highlight the Cochlear brand.
Cochlear wanted to run a promotional video so, in-keeping with the high-tech feel, a projector was fixed to the ceiling of the stand that projected onto a clear screen. This innovative use of a modern product created the impression of a floating projection image whilst still ensuring maximum visibility of the stand.
The result was a success; one of the best looking stands at the event.
