Electric Proms 2009

October saw GTMS produce and install venue branding for the BBC Electric Proms in Camden for the fourth consecutive year. GTMS have been involved since the event begin on 2006 working with the BBC marketing and communications department to deliver branding solutions to the multitude of different venues which have been used throughout the events varied history.
This year saw the event focus on the performance spaces within the iconic Roundhouse in Camden. From Shirley Bassey and the BBC Concert Orchestra in the main space to N-Dubz in The Studio Theatre performing as part of the Dizzee Rascal after party, GTMS were there to brand the spaces. From a 90 running metre canvas print around the balcony to custom made light boxes and plinths to network specific branding for Radio 1, 1 Xtra, 6 Music and Radio 2 GTMS spent the 5 live days working with BBC marketing, Stage and Production managers and venue staff to make sure branding always looked great.
As an additional element to the event this year a space in the cafe area was given over to BBC 6 Music and 1 Xtra to display images, content and messaging regarding their station and presenters. For this GTMS provided a custom built display wall incorporating seven plasma screens the largest a mammoth 65 inch display. Some screens were networked to display identical images while others ran independent content.
Once again this year we received a letter of thanks from Lorna Clarke the Festival Director, we look forward to 2010.
