HPV Tour


GTMS were approached by Consolidated PR to provide a modular set that could be toured around shopping centres to increase awareness amongst young girls about the HPV vaccine.
‘All girls born on or after 1 September 1990 and before 31 August 1997 can now have the vaccination that protects against cervical cancer. Girls born after 31 August 1997 will get the vaccine routinely in school year 8'
The mechanic for getting girls interested in the stand was to give them the opportunity to dress up in fancy dress with their friends and have their photo taken.
GTMS created a mini catwalk covered in pink carpet and purple fascias. Purple post and rope was used to mark out the area giving it a ‘VIP feel'. A modular pop up backdrop with lights was created for the girls to have their photo taken in front. The backdrop carried the ‘Arm Against Cancer' logo in a checkerboard style to mimic a press wall.
Pink flamingos were used decorate the area and carry on the fun theme.
GTMS toured and set up the at 13 different shopping centres in 13 days across the UK.
